Constructive Change
Jamie Batson served as Program Director for the Center for Constructive Change for three years. Mather Associates uses the approach developed by Center founder, Dr. Fred Jervis in all of our work with clients.
The Constructive Change method is:
- TO START AT THE END WITH A CLEAR PURPOSE
- STAY FOCUSED ON RESULTS
This approach has been effective in strategic planning and goal setting, in retreats, in group and individual strategy sessions, and in membership and fund development.
Basically, we work with clients to help them envision where they want to end up and what result(s) they wish to accomplish. The clearer the focus on what they want to achieve for the organization, the easier it is to plan in reverse for how to get there. Focusing on a common vision also assists all members of the organization in seeing the end result and pulling together to get there.
